Walkers

When I found out that Walkers didn’t have its own TikTok channel (in 2024) I was shocked. When I was asked by PepsiCo to come up with the ideas to launch it - I was honoured. The brief, in short, was to ‘use British humour’ and ‘truths about everyday British life.’ But, considering this was a social first brief we knew we also had to tap into the language and trends of TikTok too.

It is an entirely different beast to traditional media. Illogical, eccentric, unpredictable… but always fun.

I was asked to do football x crisp ideas for the channel…

I wrote a few Walkers chants… the client loved them, and we subsequently got to perform one in front of Gary Lineker for the relaunch of Salt & Lineker flavour.

Jumped on a trend, but why not? Give the people what they want. Which is weird stuff as a cereal replacement apparently?!













Sometimes to sell an idea, you have to do it yourself… at the cost of your pride.
